“Large 18th century screen with six leaves”
Magnificent screen in painted canvas, mounted with six leaves, with a total length of 384 cm deployed.
The panels are decorated with a motif inspired by greenery and castles, as was fashionable in the middle of the 18th century. The reverse is decorated with simple trompe l’oeil panels. Very good condition, original hinges. Great decorative interest, which can be used as well to separate a room as to make a sumptuous headboard, or be separated into three decorative panels to open a room in trompe l’oeil.
